COLOUR WEEK 2018

Children relate everything that they see with colours. They like explore & experiment in the first step of learning. Imbibing this thought, Candyyfloss celebrated ‘colour fest’ from 23rd to 28th April. The tiny tots dressed in specific colours- red, yellow, green & orange and enjoyed various activities planned throughout the week.
For red colour day children loved making heart shaped red jelly sandwich and red fruit salad. They enjoyed tasting the heart shaped sandwich and also loved experimenting with different red colour fruits such as apple , strawberry, pomegranate and watermelon .
For yellow colour day kids were extremely excited to learn making corn salad and the yellow coloured square shaped yumilicious mango ice-cream.
For green colour day children were amazed to learn making grapes caterpillar with the help of skewers. A demo for making green chutney in traditional as well as modern ways was also given by the teachers.
For orange colour day, children enjoyed making orange juice out of fresh oranges. And they also learnt how to make tasty orange candies from the oranges which they brought from their homes.
For multicolour day children were shown how to make rainbow jelly . It was an amazing experience for the tiny tots to see the different coloured jellies become a rainbow coloured jelly bar.
The incorporation of different colours & shapes with various healthy and yummy fruits during this whole week proved to be very interesting. All the activities planned for the week were designed keeping in mind that children could relate to them in real life. They also understood the importance of various colours when it comes to food, health & nutrition.

MAGIC SHOW AND PUPPET SHOW 2018

Magic Show

Magic is an art that entertains the audience through tricks, illusions & well practiced moves. Learning magic tricks is a part of the growing up years of every child. Candyyfloss arranged for a magic show inside the school premises where the magician performed several interesting tricks, leaving our tiny tots awestruck and mesmerized. A few children were also called on the stage and were involved in the magic tricks shown by the magician. All the kids completely enjoyed the show and were glued to it till the end.

Puppet Show

Hand puppets or Marionettes spark the interest of children. These puppets offer children an engaging way to interact and explore their knowledge and understanding about the world. Therefore, Candyyfloss arranged for a team of Marionette show performers who gave the children an opportunity to observe these puppets very closely and also gave them a chance to come forward and interact with the puppets. This was a thrilling and one of a kind experience for our little ones which would have surely left a long lasting effect on their young minds.

WELCOME ASSEMBLY 2018

WELCOME ASSEMBLY

The assemblies offer a visual & fun way of gathering information & easily understood by the young minds. Therefore Candyyfloss teachers hosted a beautiful welcome assembly. A melodious choir, a short skit based on the theme ”Clean India, Green India” was also presented and at the end there was a lot of dance, masti & dhamaal which left our tiny tots pleasantly surprised. The kids were amazed to see their teachers singing, dancing and performing as their favourite cartoon characters. The smiling and bright faces of all the children at the end of the welcome assembly proved to be a thumbs up for the teachers that children are looking forward to have a great year ahead.
