ETTIQUETTES
AND MANNERISM WEEK
DAY 1: Role Play
In an endeavour to make our tiny tots learn the importance and usage of the
golden words like please, sorry and thank you, the teachers presented an
educational skit which was effectively correlated by the students. Also, a
presentation on telephone etiquettes was given through which the students
learnt how to greet someone over phone .
Day 2: Class Activity on Table Manners
Table Manners are the rules of etiquette used
while eating which should be imbibed in children as early as possible so as to
lead a healthy & disciplined life. Though the class teachers have always
been explaining the basic table manners on regular basis yet to teach them
about the use of serviette & utensils on the dining table, scrap file
activity was done in which the children pasted the pictorial cut-outs of plate,
fork, knife and spoon as per the basic table setting rules
Day 3: Serviette Making Activity
Serviette is a small square of cloth or paper
used while eating to protect the clothes, wipe the mouth and hands, etc. Using
serviette properly while eating is an important aspect of Table etiquettes.
Therefore , today's session was emphasised on introducing 'serviette' to our
little kids. Children were explained about the use of serviette and the
activity of the day was 'printing on the serviette' which was done by the
children
Day 4: Road Etiquettes
- Tips to keep you safe & courteous
Keeping kids safe at all times can be tricky when you cannot be with them
always. Parents ensure the safety of their child at home, and teachers or
caretakers are responsible for the kid’s safety at school. But who keeps them
safe on the road? Whether your children walk to school or take the bus, they
should be taught about the rules to stay safe on roads. So, today Candyyfloss
teachers presented a road scene for the children in order to make them
understand the importance of road etiquettes by following certain rules like crossing
road on zebra crossing, not to litter the road, not honking near schools,
hospitals etc. Indeed, it was a great learning session by our tiny tots.
